My name is Beverly and I am so happy you’re here!

I have always been someone who enjoys writing and sharing my experiences, I’ve been owning and running a side baking business for 15+ years, completed a stint in culinary school and worked as a prep chef, and I love conquering a good DIY project in the house.

After toying with the idea of starting a blog for the past handful of years, I am finally taking the leap and sharing my thoughts, travels, recipes, and life with you!

A little more about me, I am single, 35 years old, living in Michigan, and am a mid-plus size girly. I try to focus on whole food plant based (WFPB) and vegan cooking, but you’ll probably see some good ole Midwest cuisine at times too!

The real star of the show is Freddy Manicotti, my almost 3 year old chocolate lab/shar pei mix who has the silliest, most loving, personality of his own.
